Saturday June 1 Best Sports Betting Picks & Predictions For NHL Playoffs, MLB, and MLS | Deadspin.com

The NHL Stanley Cup Final matchup might just be halfway home after Saturday’s Game 6 between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers. Just a feeling, but we believe our betting decision is looking good.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are “World Series or bust” and take on an overmatched division rival – but the odds are a little insulting.

And some more major league action: a Major League Soccer matchup that features the best pair of stars on one team in years.

We have a trio of same-gamers for your weekend.

New York Rangers at Florida Panthers

The Panthers have been the better team during this Eastern Conference finals series. As much as the NHL would love to have the New York City market in the Stanley Cup Final, it doesn’t appear to be in the cards.

The Panthers have taken the play to the Rangers in the past three games, winning two of those and pushing New York to the brink of elimination.

There is just too much depth on the top two lines on the Panthers top two lines to think New York can change the tide – unless there are some pretty crazy bounces in Game 6.

After eight goals in 60 minutes of Game 3, things settled down and Games 4 and 5 have gone under 5.5 goals. We look for that trend to continue and, in a parlay with the Florida money line, under 7.5 goals still gives us a pretty decent price.

Same-game parlay: Florida Panthers money line with under 7.5 goals at -113 (FanDuel).

Colorado Rockies at Los Angeles Dodgers

This is a massive money line.

The Dodgers are -310 against the last-place Rockies, but the pitching matchup leads us to believe this won’t be a blowout. Colorado’s Cal Quantrill has, by all accounts, been a decent major league pitcher this season. He has an ERA of 3.53 and a WHIP of 1.21.

Meanwhile, Yoshinobu Yamamoto has struggled over his past couple of outings, allowing 10 earned runs in 17 innings and pushing his season ERA to 3.51.

The one area in which he continues to excel is strikeouts. The Rockies are second in the National League in Ks so, while they might run into a blast now and then, they will likely help Yamamoto’s whiff total Saturday night.

We’ve assembled a nice three-leg parlay to fit these parameters.

Same-game parlay: Rockies +3.5 with Yamamoto 6+ strikeouts at -125 (DraftKings)

Inter Miami at St. Louis City

Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez teamed up to become the most fearsome 1-2 punch perhaps in Major League Soccer history.

Messi leads the league in assists and shares the third position in goals scored – with Suarez.

Making matters more difficult for a middling St. Louis side, Inter Miami lost, almost embarrassingly, in their most recent game to Atlanta (12th place in the 15-team Eastern Conference).

Inter Miami are focused and ready to get back on track. Prior to the 3-1 loss to Atlanta, Inter Miami allowed one goal – total – over the previous three matches.

Leading the MLS in points and goal differential, they aren’t likely to lose back to back games.

Same-game parlay: Inter Miami two-way spread -0.5 goals with total UNDER 4.5 goals at +105 (FanDuel)
