Euro 2024 picks: Betting odds, predictions for Wednesday (June 26)

Group play of Euro 2024 wraps up with a massive final day for all four teams in Group E.

Romania, Belgium, Slovakia and Ukraine are in a four-way tie with three points apiece. All four could either advance or be eliminated, depending on how they fare in their matches at noon ET on Wednesday.

The two Group F matches kicking off at 3 p.m. ET include a likely rout for Portugal against Georgia and a toss-up in Czech Republic vs. Turkey.

Euro 2024 Betting Odds for June 26

Below are the kickoff times (all times Eastern) and the three-way moneyline odds from DraftKings on Wednesday:

  • Ukraine (+425) vs. Belgium (-155) (draw +300): 12 p.m. on FOX
  • Slovakia (+210) vs. Romania (+285) (draw +115): 12 p.m. on FS1
  • Georgia (+900) vs. Portugal (-340) (draw +475): 3 p.m. on FOX
  • Czech Republic (+165) vs. Turkey (+170) (draw +235): 3 p.m. on FS1

Ukraine vs. Belgium Best Bet

Ukraine, Slovakia and Romania all enter today’s games with plenty of optimism about reaching the knockout rounds of this tournament. And if they end up going home early, the disappointment should be tempered by the relatively low expectations they carried into Euro 2024.

For Belgium, though, failure to reach the knockout rounds would represent the biggest flop yet for what has long been viewed as Belgium’s “golden generation.” This team reached the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup, but exited Euro 2020 in the quarterfinals and failed to reach knockout play at the 2022 World Cup.

Given the stakes, Belgium stars Kevin de Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku should be able to do enough to reach the round of 16 against a Ukraine side that has allowed four goals in two games.

Best bet: Both Teams to Score — No (-104) at FanDuel

Slovakia vs. Romania Best Bet

These teams are short on household names, to say the least, especially compared to the likes of Portugal and Belgium.

But there’s a seemingly easy way to approach this one. The three-way moneyline odds give a strong hint by listing the draw at just +115, much shorter than the typical draw odds. In an evenly matched Czech Republic vs. Turkey clash later today, for example, the draw pays out at +235.

The reason is simple: both Slovakia and Romania will reach the knockout rounds if this ends in a draw. Don’t overthink this one. DraftKings offers the draw at a great price (both FanDuel and ESPN BET list it at +105), so jump on it while you can.

Best bet: Draw (+115) at DraftKings

Georgia vs. Portugal Best Bets

Oddsmakers understandably expect another romp for Portugal in this match. The Portuguese impressed in each of their first two matches of this tournament, particularly in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Turkey. And on Wednesday, they face their weakest opponent to date.

Taking anyone to win big in this tournament has proven misguided so far, but this looks like a clear exception. Below are a couple ways to find value in what profiles as a one-sided battle:

Best bets: 1) Portugal Spread (Regular Time) -1.5 (-105) at DraftKings

2) Portugal to win to Nil — Yes (+100) at BetMGM

Czech Republic vs. Turkey Best Bets

The most evenly matched contest of the day pits Czech Republic against Turkey in a match that Czechia needs to win. Turkey enters today’s game in second place with three points, while the Czech Republic has just one point.

There’s a reason oddsmakers have priced this the way they have, though, so expect a tight game.

Don’t expect a Czech Republic side that led Portugal for nearly 70 minutes in their Euro 2024 opener on June 18 (before an own goal in the 69th and a last-second strike from Portugal left them with nothing to show from an impressive effort) to go down without a fight here.

Also note that Manager Ivan Hasek’s side were unlucky to draw Georgia 1-1 on June 22. They won the expected goals (xG) battle in that match 3 to 1.1 (despite allowing a penalty).

A couple tempting plays are available here:

Best bets: 1) Czech Republic moneyline (+170) at FanDuel

2) Over 2.5 (-105) at DraftKings
