Jude Bellingham remains favourite to win Sports Personality of the Year after his England heroics
England’s superstar midfielder Jude Bellingham remains the favourite with betting sites to win this year’s Sports Personality of the Year award after his heroics for the Three Lions at the Euros.
Gareth Southgate’s England side limped towards an embarrassing defeat to Slovakia on Sunday before a 95th minute overhead kick from Bellingham saved their blushes before a Harry Kane winner in extra time.
Bellingham’s performances at the Euros have seen his odds continue to tumble for the SPOTY award after originally moving into favourite following Real Madrid’s Champions League win at the start of June.
Bet365‘s latest odds suggests there’s a 26.7% chance that Bellingham is crowned the winner of the 2024 Sports Personality of the Year, which will be awarded in December.
