SIS launches esports betting products with Codere in multiple markets

SIS has launched esports betting products with Codere in multiple markets, including eSoccer and eBasketball events from the H2H Global Gaming League.

Sports Information Services (SIS) has launched its Competitive Gaming esports products with Codere, now available across retail and online channels in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Spain.

The new offering includes eSoccer and eBasketball events from the H2H Global Gaming League, which are designed to provide continuous betting opportunities, featuring over 150,000 events annually.

These events, produced in-house at SIS’ studios in the UK, are built specifically for sportsbooks. They feature ultra-low latency live streaming and integrity referees trained by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC). The launch aims to expand Codere’s betting options in the listed markets.

Angel Calderon, Head of Sales for Iberia, UK and Europe at SIS, commented: “We are delighted to be able to provide our round-the-clock eSoccer and eBasketball content to Codere and believe that it will not only serve to increase choice to its customers, but also drive significant additional revenues.”

Sergio Garcia, Codere Sportsbook Operations Manager, noted: “Our goal is to enhance our standing in the market by having the best range of betting products available and this integration helps us achieve that goal. SIS is renowned for providing a wide range of highly engaging premium action that captivates a wide demographic of bettors across both retail and online channels.”

This launch follows SIS’s partnership expansion with bet365, which saw the integration of SIS’s eSoccer portfolio alongside its existing eBasketball offerings across regulated markets. SIS has been active in broadening its esports content, including partnerships with Betbazar and Bitville Gaming.

In August 2024, Codere partnered with gaming supplier Beter to distribute eFootball and eBasketball content through Beter’s ESportsBattle tournaments.
