Patriots vs. Jets: TNF Best Prop Bets

Week 3 of the 2024-25 NFL season kicks off with an AFC East showdown on Thursday Night Football between the New England Patriots and New York Jets, both of whom are 1-1.

The Patriots were expected to be one of the worst teams in the league but have been surprisingly frisky thus far, upsetting the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1 and nearly did the same to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. They used to own the Jets under Bill Belichick, but will that trend continue under Jerod Mayo?

Aaron Rodgers finally got his first win with New York last week, coming back to beat the Tennessee Titans on the road. He and his teammates will try to build off that momentum in their home opener this week.

There are plenty of NFL prop bets to target for this division rivalry game at our best NFL betting sites. Based on our research and recent trends, here are the best prop bets to target.

Best Week 3 TNF Props

  • Breece Hall Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Hall has been the focal point of the Jets’ offense so far, racking up 207 total yards and scoring a touchdown in each game. The Patriots have allowed a rushing touchdown in each game as well, so bet on Hall punching one in.
  • Rhamondre Stevenson Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Stevenson has been New England’s version of Hall, amassing 216 total yards and scoring in each game. New York has already allowed three rushing touchdowns, so look for Stevenson to cash in.
  • Jacoby Brissett Under 167.5 Passing Yards: Brissett has gone well below this total in both games this year, averaging just 135 passing yards per game on an ugly 58.8% completion rate. Don’t expect those numbers to improve much against a tough Jets defense on the road.
  • Aaron Rodgers Under 31.5 Pass Attempts: Rodgers has gone below this number in both games so far and shouldn’t need to throw much against New England’s run-heavy, low-scoring offense.
  • Jacoby Brissett Under 0.5 Interceptions: Brissett has yet to throw an interception this year and is one of the best in the league at limiting his mistakes. His career 1.4% interception rate is the lowest among active quarterbacks.
  • New York Jets First Team To Score: We like the Jets to pick up where they left off after finishing strong last week against the Titans. New York’s offense is more potent than New England’s, so look for Rodgers & Co. to put points on the board before the Patriots do.

Odds and lines will vary based on the NFL prop betting site. Betting on the NFL can cause problems for some players. Always gamble responsibly by setting a budget and understanding the vig.
