Chicago had a bye last week after demolishisg the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-16 in London on Oct. 13. The Bears outgained Jacksonville (373 yards to 278) and forced 2 turnovers. QB Caleb Williams tossed in 4 TD passes as Chicago won its 3rd straight game and cover.
Washington mauled the Carolina Panthers 40-7 Sunday while covering as a 10.5-point favorite. QB Marcus Mariota completed 18-of-23 passes for 205 yards and 2 TDs after QB Jayden Daniels left in the first quarter with a rib injury. Daniels is a game-time decision.

Bears at Commanders picks and predictions
Prediction
Bears 28, Commanders 27
Moneyline
PASS.
Chicago will have the upper-hand if Daniels is unable to play, even though Mariota did play well vs. Carolina. Chicago has also been figuring things out offensively lately, which is something that should scare the Commanders whether Daniels is available to play or not.
If Daniels is available to play for Washington, then I would be fully backing the Commanders, which I recommend if Daniels is good to go. But you might not know that until right before kickoff.
Against the spread
BET COMMANDERS +1.5 (-110).
Washington has the better offense and is the more tested team as the Commanders have played much more difficult competition than Chicago. The Commanders are the better team and have been playing better throughout this season, so expect for Washington to fight here.
This bet gets even safer if Daniels plays and the line drop from Commanders +3 indicates his is likely to play. I would say to consider divvying up between the spread and ML if he is able to play.
Over/Under
BET OVER 43 (-110).
Both of these squads have solid rookie QBs and efficient offenses, and neither team is anything special defensively, so the Over is safe here.
The Over has also hit in 3 straight games for Chicago and is 4-1 in Washington’s last 5 games.
If Daniels doesn’t play, I would still lean Over, but not feel as strongly because a lot of Washington’s offensive dominance is because of Daniels and his dual-threat ability.
