The CBF Summit Academy 2024 will take place on November 26, starting at 9 am (Brasília time) at the Tivoli Mofarrej Hotel, in São Paulo. The meeting will be opened by the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Ednaldo Rodrigues, and the Minister of Sports, André Fufuca.
The topics to be discussed include football broadcasts in Brazil, the role of government in the development of the sport, investments, management, SAFs and sports journalism, among other subjects.
One of the panels will address “The Future of Sports Betting”, with a presentation by Regis Dudena, Secretariat of Prizes and Betting, who will share the stage with lawyer Pietro Cardia Lorenzoni, representing the National Association of Games and Lotteries.
Another will address “Integrity in Football: Combating Match-Fixing”, with lectures by Luís Otávio Veríssimo, president of the Superior Court of Sports Justice of Portugal, who will share the country’s experience in practices to inhibit illegalities. Completing the panel are Andrei Rodrigues, director-general of the Brazilian Federal Police, and Emílio García Sivero, legal director of FIFA.
