Dean McCullough earned 10 stars in his sixth Bushtucker Trial on Monday night’s I’m a Celebrity, a personal best for the Radio 1 DJ.
McCullough had again been voted to face Monday’s trial “Jack and the Screamstalk”, much to the frustrations of Ant and Dec. However, the Northern Irish radio star exceeded expectations, earning 10 stars and even a round of applause from the hosts, who have been critical of his past efforts.
Elsewhere, Maura Higgins has been celebrating her birthday but wasn’t impressed by Danny Jones and Alan Halsall’s “dad jokes”.
Reverend Richard Coles also opened up about his sexuality and his faith in a very frank and risqué chat with GK Barry, as the two form an unlikely friendship.
In a twist, the campmates were given their food early with many assuming that they were being given a treat because of Maura’s birthday. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a treat at all as they were all invited to go on board “The Fright Bus” for a late night challenge.
They were told: “Tonight, you will all have the chance to win treats. However, to be in with a chance of winning, you will all need to take a trip on The Fright Bus!”
Each celebrity could win a piece of luggage from the rack, described to contain holiday essentials and even a tasty treat. However, what happened in the challenge was left as a mystery as we’ll have to wait for tomorrow’s episode to see what transpired on the bus.
Finally, there wasn’t a celebrity picked for Tuesday’s challenge on the show but two celebs will compete in the trial, which has been confirmed as “The Fright at the End of the Tunnel”.
Follow along with our live coverage of tonight’s episode, below.

I’m a Celebrity fans dumbstruck by GK Barry and Richard Coles’s risqué chat
She said that even at 13, she thought: “Well, that’s not gonna happen. I see my future and it involves scissoring.”
Coles, 62, then asked Barry, 25, what scissoring is. She chose not to explain it to him in detail, but did tell him it was something that lesbians do. He then started making jokes about the “sizzling scissoring sisterhood”, and the pair collapsed into giggles.
Viewers were taken aback, to say the least. “Talking about scissoring with a reverend. I’m a Celeb is not real,” wrote one fan on X.

“The Fright Bus” explained
The challenge was simple: the campmates had to endure the bus and work within their rows of three to escape it, passing four stops on its journey. To do this, each row would wait until their stop to manoeuvre three tokens across the bar to the stop button as fast as they could. Every token won, would equate to one piece of luggage.
Sadly, we’ll have to wait until Tuesday’s show to see what happened on the bus.

“Meals of Wheels” challenge earns campmates two Pringles each
From Richard’s enlightening conversation about the relationship between his faith and his sexuality to Melvin and Tulisa solving maths problems using rubber ducks in the “Meals on Wheels” challenge…you never know what you’re going to get on I’m a Celebrity.
A determined Tulisa and Melvin both waded into the cold water to begin counting ducks. As they began counting, Melvin said: “Carol Vorderman would be proud of us!”
When it came to the equation, Melvin revealed maths wasn’t his strong point, and it was up to Tulisa to work out their final answer. Calculating 222 – “a very lucky powerful number” – Tulisa and Melvin celebrated when they learned they had got it right and therefore won the dingo dollars.
When they went to see Kiosk Kev, main camp were asked the following question:
How many UK top 10 singles does the entire camp have?
Correctly answering C) 27, the camp were treated to 2 pringles each.

Reverend Richard Coles opens up about his sexuality in refreshing chat with GK Barry
On Monday night’s episode (25 November) of the ITV show, Coles, 62, was chatting to content creator GK Barry about juggling his sexuality and religion.
Coles then confessed: “No, not at all. I’ve never given it a moment’s twinge of anxiety over whether God thought it was alright or not. Whether other people thought it was alright or not, well I’m happy to have that argument…”
He added of his sexuality: “Also, I was not the first. Sometimes I look at documents from the early church, or the church of the middle ages and I just think – so gay.”
