Mobility company scoops ‘overall winner’ in UK business awards

A mobility business has scooped two awards at a prestigious national awards ceremony.

Suffolk Mobility Solutions, based in Bacton, near Stowmarket, won top spot for Customer Service in the Micro Business category, at the UK Business Awards 2024.

It was then named ‘Overall Winner’ at the evening event, held at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, at the beginning of this month.

The firm specialises in life-changing home improvements for people who have faced sudden trauma, disability or age-related illness.

Ian Bell, director, said: “We’re overjoyed to be the overall winner.

“This level of recognition from UKBA is beyond anything I could have imagined and we are deeply grateful for this prestigious honour.”

Suffolk Mobility Solutions was founded by Ian four years ago. It has successfully completed over 100 transformation projects since then.

Ian added: “The awards certainly move our business forward as we help more and more people in Suffolk to live their lives in safety, with independence and with dignity.

“I think these awards reflect the dedication and hard work of our amazing team over the past four years.”

UK Business Awards, which are also known as ‘The Dons’, recognise the achievements of businesses in the UK across a broad range of categories.
