Two end life after losing money in online gambling | Bengaluru News – Times of India

Bengaluru: Two persons allegedly killed themselves in separate instances Friday evening in Mahadevapura and Bellandur after losing money in online gambling. It is said that the duo was addicted to gambling for the last few years, took loans and were unable to clear their debts.
A 25-year-old lab technician killed himself by hanging in his PG accommodation room in Mahadevapura. The deceased was identified as Mallikarjun from Vijayanagar district. He was working as a lab technician assistant for a private hospital.
In the other incident, 30-year-old Kumaraswamy, an autorickshaw driver, hanged himself in his house in A Krishnappa Nagar, Bellandur, when his wife Dakshayini and children went out for shopping. On return, his wife found him hanging. She rushed him to a nearby hospital with the help of neighbours, but doctors declared him brought dead.
