It’s a sparkling Sunday in the title fights in England and Scotland with Arsenal and Manchester City in action and also Rangers and Celtic – and all four are away from home.
But the Sunday action isn’t confined to Britain with a raft of big matches all across Europe as the domestic season in the big five leagues nears the finishing line.

Bet of the day
Rennes to beat Brest @ 23/20
Rennes landed the honours in last week’s derby showdown at Nantes and can double up by taking down Ligue 1’s surprise package this season and fellow Bretons Brest at Roazhon Park.
After a tough run of results Rennes were excellent on Saturday, winning 3-0 at Nantes to revive their hopes of a return to Europe.
And they should fancy their chances of beating a Brest side who they have not lost to in any of their last 14 meetings, a streak going back to 2011.
Brest have performed miracles this season but look as though they might be finally running out of steam. They have failed to win four of their last six and all but kissed farewell to the chance of a second-placed finish last Sunday when they lost 2-0 at home to a Monaco side who finished with nine men.
Special of the day
Arsenal to win/C Romero to be booked/both teams to score bet-builder @ 11/2
Sunday’s north London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal has plenty riding on it with Ange Postecoglou’s men still in the hunt for the top four and Mikel Arteta’s Gunners hopeful of chasing down the Premier League title.
That means that neither side can be taking backward steps – not that either would given that both clubs’ matches are averaging well over three goals per game.
Arsenal should win it because they are playing so well and their 5-0 rout of Chelsea on Tuesday will have given them bags of confidence. But don’t be surprised if Spurs, who are determined to bounce back from a 4-0 mauling at Newcastle and should be nicely rested after the luxury of a fortnight off, play their part by finding the net as well.
Complete a bet-builder with Cristian Romero to be shown a card. It doesn’t take much to rile the hot-headed Argentinian defender, who has been cautioned in each of these last two fixtures.
Long shot of the day
Morgan Gibbs-White to score at any time @ 11/2
Manchester City’s 4-0 romp at Brighton on Thursday night saw Pep Guardiola’s champions overcome a potentially tricky obstacle in some style as they look to retain their title. But make no mistake, injury-ravaged Brighton went through the motions, much to the chagrin of Mikel Arteta, and City really couldn’t miss.
At Nottingham Forest on Sunday, however, against a team battling for their top-flight survival, City may well face a far sterner examination. It’s one they can pass – and quite possibly in style – but Forest should put up a fight.
City have been conceding goals this season and with less than a three-day turnaround since turning out at the Amex, they can ship again with Morgan Gibbs-White, a real livewire danger man for Forest, taken to find the net. Gibbs-White has scored six times this season, including two in his last four, and is value to add to his tally.
