Time after time, Trailfinders has proved it’s one of the UK’s best package holiday providers.
It’s the customer care that makes Trailfinders stand out. The vast majority of its holidays are booked in person or over the phone, meaning that advisors take their time to get to know exactly what you want from your holiday. It will also take care of you if something goes wrong – from hotels that aren’t up to scratch to wildfires and floods, an increasing number of holidays are disrupted.
Trailfinders isn’t cheap. If you’re after a beach holiday with more affordable prices, Jet2Holidays also has excellent customer service at every stage of your holiday, and now offers a record number of flights on its own airline to a record number of destinations.
Not a single company managed a five-star value for money rating in this year’s survey, which reflects increased prices for holidays. But don’t be tempted by holidays advertised at bargain basement prices. The cheapest provider in our table, eDreams, also received the lowest customer score and a raft of poor two-star ratings. There are plenty of better options that don’t cost the earth.
You can compare customer scores and prices in the table and, for extra peace of mind, all the companies awarded Which? Recommended Provider (WRP) status guarantee that they will not apply surcharges in 2025 – so the price won’t go up after you book.

How we rate holiday companies
Guy Hobbs, Which? package holiday expert, says:
‘All the tour operators mentioned have been rated by people who have been on holiday with them in the last two years – so you know you can trust the scores. They can’t be influenced by the companies or by our own personal views. It’s this editorial independence that makes Which? unique. Which? Travel has been rating holiday companies for more than 50 years.
‘Most people have a wonderful time on holiday, but to truly assess a service you need to know how your operator would react if things go wrong. What if your flights are diverted, your hotel is a building site, or there are wildfires at your destination? Will your holiday company do everything it can to help, or just leave you to fend for yourself?
‘Our survey of nearly 20,000 package holidays captures all these experiences – the good and the bad – helping you to make an informed decision, and choose a provider you can trust.’
