Black Friday is the best time of the year to stock up on beauty staples, whether it’s your favourite CeraVe moisturiser, Elemis cleanser or Refy make-up. As for 2024, the early deals don’t disappoint – in fact, they’re only going to get better.

In our IndyBest review of the foundation, our tested found it “buffs into the skin beautifully, leaving a subtle radiance to the skin that catches the light naturally”. Likewise, after reviewing the renowned magic cream, our tester found their skin “looked plumper, dewier, firmer and, above all, far healthier”. Glowing reviews all round.

Dyson corrale cord-free straightener blue/blush: Was £399.99, now £249.99, Boots.com

Dyson’s corrale straightener is one of the best in the business, helping you to reduce frizz and flyaways. In our review, the writer praised the unique copper alloy plates that “sit on top of a layer of ‘microhinges’, which help to gather every single hair as you style”. They said that their “hair stayed smooth and bouncy all day”. With £150 off, this is certainly a pukka deal, especially as it’s an early Black Friday offer.

The Debenhams early Black Friday sale has landed with up to 70 per cent off beauty, clothing, furniture and more. But its the brand’s dehumidifier deals that have captured my attention.

These cost-busting machines extract moisture and dampness from your surroundings and, in turn, potentially halve your laundry-drying times, making them a winter essential.

You can buy the iPhone 16 handset in Giffgaff’s Black Friday sale to get a £20 discount on the £799 device, then spread the cost over 36 months to bring your payments down to £20.95.

To be eligible to buy a phone from Giffgaff, you have to sign up for one of the plans. The cheapest plan is £10 per month, which gets you a generous 60GB of data if you agree to an 18-month contract. That’s great value already, but you can make things even cheaper by choosing the £10 rolling contract from the drop-down menu. This year, Cyber Monday will fall on Monday 2 December 2024. The main difference Black Friday and Cyber Monday is that the latter – as the name suggests – historically only takes place online, while Black Friday sees deals both online and in stores. This isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, however, with plenty of brands continuing their in-store sales after the official Black Friday weekend.

If you miss out on bagging a Black Friday deal, Cyber Monday give you an extra chance to score a saving.

Typically, the best deals on tech and home appliances can be found on Black Friday, while Cyber Monday sees bigger savings across beauty, fashion and toys – so, this is worth bearing in mind when ticking off your Christmas shopping list.

Black Friday traditionally falls the day after Thanksgiving in the US, so the mammoth sale will kick off on Friday 29 November. Lasting a full four days, the deals will end on Cyber Monday, falling on 2 December.

While there’s still a few weeks to go until the main event, myriad brands and retailers are ramping up excitement by launching their Black Friday sales early. Boots was the first to kick off proceedings, with John Lewis and Argos closely behind. In the days since, Ao, Currys, Shark, Ninja, Oodie, Superdrug and Dyson have all followed suit.
