Saturday evening’s Premier League fixture sees Brighton hosting Arsenal at the Amex Stadium.
PP ambassador Joe Cole foresees a challenging game for the Gunners, and they may not return to London with all three points.
He’s also backed two goalscorers, which Paddy’s Super Sub offer covers. If the player(s) are substituted, the pick carries over to their replacements.
Let’s get his Brighton v Arsenal betting tips.
Brighton v Arsenal Bet Builder tips
Draw
Over 3.5 goals
Joao Pedro to score
Martin Odegaard to score
WHEN: Saturday, 4th of January, 5:30pm
WHERE: The AmEx Stadium, Brighton
TV: Sky Sports Main Event/Premier League
The Brighton game is slightly more challenging for Arsenal than the Brentford one. If you’re Mikel Arteta, you’re looking at this fixture knowing you must win to compete at the top.
But we’ve seen Brighton play under Fabian Hurzeler; they are all action up front and can cause real problems for Arsenal’s defence. Plus, their fans will be up for this and want to see their team take it to the Gunners and maybe nick a point or three.
I can’t see Arsenal winning without Saka, who is a big miss in attack. Brighton have some great players, including Estupinan, Mitoma, and Joao Pedro, who can cause damage. So, I am going for a draw, and there will be a lot of goals, too.
As for the goalscorers, I will choose Joao Pedro for Brighton. He is their biggest threat. Martin Odegaard is overdue for a goal, so I will back him to score.
