Caesars’ grip on Michigan’s iGaming market is a tad tighter as the company launches Horseshoe Casino this week. This new rollout means the company now operates two iGaming services in the Great Lakes State.
Horseshoe the New Face as Old Lady WynnBET Bows Out
Horseshoe’s launch was inevitable after Caesars purchased WynnBET iGaming operations in the state. Caesars initially secured WynnBET skin in February and concluded the purchase in June to end the old lady’s reign. The company then established a partnership with Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians to launch Horseshoe.
This new casino rollout is monumental because it could be Caesars’ last online brand launch or purchase. The parent company has reached its maximum online casino skin ownership limit by law.
Of course, selloff deals may happen in the future, but for now, Caesar seems keen to maintain its stake in the US iGaming market. The online space has generated significant revenue for the company and is part of its long-term sustainability plan.
Caesars Expects Rapid Growth from Horseshoe Casino
Caesars executives are hopeful that Horseshoe will quickly become a household name in the local market, with President Eric Heisson expecting rapid growth. He expressed confidence in the new star to catch up with other established brands in reputation and revenue generation.
Currently, Caesars Palace Online Casino Michigan generates $11.4 million monthly based on newly published reports. The parent company leadership believes Horseshoe can raise half of that amount without feasting on its sister’s shares. There is a level of credibility to this belief, thanks to Michigan’s consistently growing enthusiasm towards online gambling.
