Celtic vs Motherwell preview
It was another stuttering display from Celtic at the weekend as they were held 0-0 at Tannadice.
It followed a string of performances where they haven’t quite been at their best, having drawn away to a poor Dinamo Zagreb side before having to battle back to beat Rangers on penalties at Hampden.
Their lead at the top has been cut to nine points, so they’re still in a really strong position.
But with games coming thick and fast, Brendan Rodgers could do with his side returning to that early season form which blew teams away.
Motherwell battled to earn a point at home to Kilmarnock last time out, with the game highlighted by the infamous Dan Casey red card.
Well have appealed that decision so it’ll be interesting to see how the SFA handle it given the spotlight is on the refereeing department in recent weeks.
The red card arguably helped Motherwell as it allowed them to sit in and soak up the pressure, with Killie dominating the ball and looking most likely to get a winner.

Home win – just!
We predicted a low-scoring affair on Sunday at Tannadice and it couldn’t have been any lower scoring.
While Celtic could easily score four or five here, they’re not quite at the heights of a couple of months ago.
