Dave & Buster’s is bringing gambling to its arcade games.

Sports betting is hot right now and Dave & Busters is getting in on the action. 

The arcade/sports bar/ restaurant chain partnered with a game software brand and will soon allow guests to place bets through its app on games like Skee-ball, pop-a-shot and more. 

Arcade users in all 223 locations will soon be able to compete against one another and earn rewards and exclusive perks in the process. 

Some critics of the feature say it will only entice young people to develop unhealthy gambling habits or exacerbate the temptation for those who already have a problem. 

That may be true but there’s no doubt Dave & Busters is seeing the dollar signs and undeniable pull of the multibillion dollar sports betting industry. 

This trend isn’t going away and it’s a business savvy move for Dave & Busters to get in on the action. 

Interactivity is the wave of the future and it’ll certainly make arcade night more fun.
