The Nuggets shot 53.8% from the floor and 48.3% from three, led by 24 points apiece from Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. The only name on the Minnesota injury report is UCLA product Jaylen Clark (Achilles), who didn’t play a minute in his rookie season.

Nuggets vs Timberwolves Game 4 Predictions

Since their impressive Game 1 win over the Suns in the first round, I have been backing the T-Wolves every time out. For the first time, I was made to look foolish on Friday. But I’m not terribly concerned about Minnesota’s long-term prospects. I firmly believe this team is built to win in the postseason. They have, by far, the best defense in the league and, as long as Edwards reasserts himself on the offensive end, enough firepower to keep up with Jokic and company.

The Timberwolves have also been phenomenal after a loss all season. Minnesota lost back-to-back games just four times all year, and never had a losing streak longer than two games. That means they went 22-4 straight-up after a loss during the regular season.

DEN vs MIN Game 4 picks:

  • Timberwolves moneyline (-142)
  • Edwards over 27.5 points (-120)
