Dundee United vs Rangers preview
They’ve had two weeks to stew on that terrible performance at Celtic Park, so you’d expect Rangers to show a reaction here.
They’ve been well below par for much of the season as a whole.
But what went before that paled in comparison to their horror show at the neighbours.
Before the weekend kicks off, Gers are already five points behind leaders Celtic and languishing in fourth.

The January recruits should just be about settled in now and we could see a much-improved Rangers moving forward now.
That new-look starts at Tannadice, with Dundee United the hosts and the two sets of supporters possessing a somewhat dislike for one another.
United are actually ahead of Gers and in third after eight points from their four opening games and this is a perfect game for them to show it’s not a lucky start after promotion last season.
They’re unbeaten in every game since a 2-0 defeat to Falkirk in the first League Cup game, winning their last three games.

Only threat
James Tavernier’s drop off this season means there’s really only one major threat for Rangers in front of goal.
Cyriel Dessers huffed and puffed at Celtic Park but was bullied out the game by the two Celtic centre backs on the day.
