Edmonton Oilers at Los Angeles Kings predictions

The NHL’s leading goal getter overall, Leon Draisaitl will look to find the back of the net on Saturday. The 29-year-old has potted 24 goals through 34 regular season games played this year.

As to no surprise, Connor McDavid keeps on piling the points to his season account. The Oilers’ captain is currently riding a nine game point streak which has seen him accumulate 18 points. Overall the superstar has cataloged 15 goals and 49 points currently this season.

Aging like a fine wine, Anze Kopitar is showing no signs of slowing down production wise on offence. The 37-year-old has produced 10 goals and 27 assists to lead his team in the points department. The 19 year NHL veteran has 1248 career points in 1407 regular season games played.

The Kings leading goal scorer, Adrian Kempe hasn’t lit the lamp in last three outings. So far Kempe has snuck one past the goalie on 16 occasions, on pace to matching his career high of 41 goals that was achieved in the 2022-23 campaign.

The Kings have yet to confirm the starting goalie on Saturday, but the tandem between David Rittich and Darcy Kuemper both possess strong numbers keeping the puck out of the net. Rittich in 18 starts possesses a 2.46 GAA while Kuemper owns a 2.40 GA

Edmonton Oilers at Los Angeles Kings tips

Rolling into Saturday’s contest, we feel the trend is our friend between these division foes. As it stands up to this point, the Kings have featured in games going under the number in 21 instances out of 34 games.

For Edmonton 19 out their 34 outings this year has seen the total goals mark going under. Another nice combo trend is for Edmonton in 11 of their last 15 away tilts played on a Saturday, the result was the under total mark cashing.

We feel with the evidence provided that this skirmish should result in a lower scoring tilt, cashing our wager.
