Hearts vs Omonoia preview
It’s been a pretty, well-documented, rotten start to the season for Hearts.
But Neil Critchley’s first game in charge brought a 4-0 win over St Mirren last Saturday, and things now appear to be looking up.
With Omonoia visiting in Europe on Thursday before a trip to fierce rivals Hibs on Sunday, it’s a massive few days for the new boss and the club, with regards to how the season could pan out.
Of course, the other way to look at it now is Hearts have only lost one of their last four – at table-toppers Aberdeen – having won their only game of this competition away at Dinamo Minsk.
That Yan Dhanda 94th minute winner seemed huge at the time and they’ve played well since then.
Omonoia were 4-0 winners over Vikingur Reykjavik in their only game of the tournament so far, with all four goals coming in the second half.
They’ve lost their last two games though so could it be a good time for the Jambos to welcome them?

Plenty of reasons to think Hearts can make it two wins from two in this competition, added to the fact the Omonoia have lost their last two.
