Hibs vs Rangers preview
It was an incredible Old Firm victory for Rangers on Thursday and they now need to make sure that’s the standard moving forward.
Despite injury issues, poor form and all the negativity that surrounded the club, they were utterly dominant in swatting Celtic away 3-0.
The issue Philippe Clement’s side have had this season is not being able to follow up big one-off victories.
And with the gap to Celtic now cut to 11 points, Gers can’t afford any more slip ups if they’re to chase down their rivals.
Nor can they afford sports science to pick the team…
Not only that, they desperately need to sort their dire away form which has seen them collect just 11 points from nine away games, scoring just nine goals in the process.
They head for Easter Road and a Hibs side who’ve just about turned a corner themselves.
Four wins on the bounce for David Gray’s side has kicked them clear of trouble at the bottom and now in a push for the top six.
That despite a disappointing 1-1 draw at toilers St Johnstone on Thursday, where they played against 10 men for over 50 minutes.
Their record against Rangers has been rotten too, losing all of their last eight meetings.

The Rangers away record cannot be ignored. They’re poor travelers and have shown that on umpteen occasions – even in the last couplw of weeks.
