Now that Mark Pope has gotten established in Lexington, the Kentucky Wildcats’ recruiting efforts are now zoned in on the class of 2025.

After building the 2024-25 team largely with transfers who have one year of eligibility remaining, expect the 2025-26 team to have a lot more high school talent.

Among Kentucky’s top targets in the class include 5-star combo guard Darryn Peterson, 5-star wing AJ Dybantsa, 5-star power forward Nate Ament, 5-star point guard Mikel Brown Jr., and 5-star center Chris Cenac.

There’s also a pair of Kentucky products in 5-star combo guard Jasper Johnson and 5-star center Malachi Moreno, who could potentially join Travis Perry and Trent Noah to add some serious Bluegrass flavor to next year’s roster.
