Already known in the market for its online casino offering, the brand has now added a sportsbook to its portfolio on LeoVegas.de, catering to a diverse and growing audience across all 16 German states.

LeoVegas said Germany, a European iGaming market that is still maturing, holds significant potential for growth, and the sportsbook launch positions the operator to attract a wide array of sports fans.

The development builds upon the company’s previous entry into the German market last year, when it introduced virtual slot machines following the granting of a gaming licence.

The addition of the sportsbook represents a strategic move to offer a more comprehensive gaming experience, addressing the increasing demand for diversified betting options.

To celebrate the launch, LeoVegas is set to roll out a nationwide marketing campaign this month titled “Thrill Seeker.” The campaign aims to showcase how everyday moments can be transformed into exhilarating experiences, aligning with the brand’s vision of delivering excitement and adventure.

The campaign will leverage multiple channels, according to the company, including television, programmatic advertising, and affiliate networks, ensuring a wide reach and strong audience engagement.

Describing the campaign as humorous and creative, LeoVegas expects the initiative to resonate with both existing customers and new audiences.

German Sports Betting Association continues to grow

In a related development, the German Sports Betting Association (DSWV) announced today (2 December) it has strengthened its commitment to innovation and compliance by welcoming two new partners: performanceLiebe and Kerberos Compliance.

These partnerships reflect the association’s dedication to supporting a progressive and future-oriented sports betting industry, it said.
