NFL Anytime Touchdown Scorer Bets for Week 18: Predictions for TD Props

  • Most of Week 18’s games now have NFL TD props available
  • I have combed through all the NFL TD odds to put together my favorite TD scorer bets
  • See the ten players I am betting to score a TD in Week 18 below

All of Week 18’s games will be played across Saturday and Sunday, with 14 of them happening on Sunday. Since a good handful of Week 18’s matchups mean nothing other than draft standing, with some teams even locked into their current playoff seed, sportsbooks have been a little hesitant to release too many NFL TD props. Full transparency, I am also hesitant to bet touchdowns in a game where I don’t know which players will be on the field, or don’t trust the backup QBs who are being thrust under center. But after going through all of the anytime touchdown odds that are available, I have found ten players I am betting to score TDs in Week 18!

I went 8-3 on my TD picks last week, winning 3.73 units. I have now won 8.28 units over the last two weeks. However, I’m still annoyed with a couple of the losses I took last week. The Bucs scored six touchdowns and not a single one was Bucky Irving, who had 190 yards from scrimmage. I also wrote last week’s article before Tua Tagovailoa’s status truly became concerning, which sucked for my De’Von Achane bet, which was based on him playing with Tua. But I’ll take the wins and hope to stay hot with my Week 18 TD picks below!

Best NFL TD Scorer Picks for Week 18

Player Anytime TD Odds
Mark Andrews +160 (bet365)
Najee Harris +120 (BetMGM)
Jalen McMillan +145 (DraftKings)
Josh Jacobs -155 (DraftKings)
Olamide Zaccheaus +305 (Caesars)
Drake London +119 (Caesars)
Joe Mixon +120 (DraftKings)
Jaleel McLaughlin +250 (BetMGM)
Isaac Guerendo +150 (BetMGM)
Jordan Addison +129 (Caesars)

I am betting ten players to score a touchdown in Week 18. Each of the players above is a half-unit bet, except for Josh Jacobs, who is a full-unit bet. I have often tried to pick a TD scorer from most of the games, but can’t bring myself to bet anyone from matchups where neither team has anything to play for, and are leaning on backups.

If you’re unsure which teams those are, be sure to check out our NFL teams resting starters in Week 18 article, where we will be keeping track of each team’s lineup decisions ahead of kickoff.

I will likely add one of the Colts’ receivers to the list above ahead of kickoff, but want to wait on some firm news as to whether Michael Pittman Jr will be playing.

Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews has been a touchdown machine since mid-October. After not scoring a single TD through the first five games of the season, he has a touchdown in nine of his last 11 games, and a total of ten touchdowns in that timeframe. He is currently riding a five-game touchdown streak.

This isn’t overly surprising when you look at his red zone targets over his last 11 games. The Ravens tight end is tied for 13th in the NFL in red zone targets from Week 6 to now, seeing 13 targets inside the 20-yard-line. He is tied with the likes of CeeDee Lamb and Tyreek Hill, but has been far more effective with those targets than the players he is tied with. All ten of his touchdowns have come on red zone targets, where those two have only converted four and five of their red zone targets into TDs, respectively.

Andrews will see a Browns defense on Saturday that’s allowing the ninth-most points in the NFL. Cleveland has allowed 24 touchdowns through the air and 20 on the ground. When these two teams met earlier in the season, Andrews caught all five of his targets for 36 yards and a touchdown.  I like him to continue his TD streak on Saturday!

  • Pick: Mark Andrews Anytime TD (+160 at bet365)

Najee Harris

While I do like the Bengals to score some touchdowns in this matchup, the anytime TD odds for each of their big three (Ja’Marr Chase, Chase Brown, and Tee Higgins) are too short.

If this were any other week, I would have no hesitation turning to one of the Steelers to score a touchdown, but I do worry how their mentality may change if the Ravens clinch the division in the first game on Saturday – they’re upwards of 20-point favorites at the time of writing this. However, the Steelers should be playing their starters, as a win results in a matchup with the Texans in the wild card round, while a loss leaves the door open for a potential matchup with the Ravens.

So, I’m just keeping this one a half-unit bet, in spite of really liking the odds on Najee Harris to score a TD. Harris has been suffering through a three-game TD drought, but scored a TD in each of his prior two games. One of those came against the Bengals, when he recorded 129 yards from scrimmage, his second-most of the season, and a touchdown on 22 touches.

Cincinnati has allowed the fourth-most points in the league and have surrendered 19 touchdowns on the ground. I like them to give up another one to Harris on Saturday night.

  • Pick: Najee Harris Anytime TD (+120 at BetMGM)

Jalen McMillan

Over the last four weeks of the season, we have seen Jalen McMillan really start to flash. Through his first eight games as a pro, which were scattered across the first 13 weeks of the season, the rookie receiver was averaging 3.4 targets per game and had only scored one touchdown. He only saw more than three targets in two of those games, but he only caught three of eight and four of seven targets in those games, respectively.

It’s clear the rookie has begun to gain the trust and comfort of his quarterback Baker Mayfield over the last four weeks, as he has at least five targets in each game and has caught 76% of the balls that have come his way. Throwing to McMillan has been very productive in this time, as he has scored a touchdown in each game, totaling six TDs in the four-game span.

In spite of the Saints giving up more touchdowns on the ground than through the air this season, I believe the best value to be found on an anytime TD scorer in this game is with McMillan. Mike Evans is going to attract a lot of attention, as will fellow rookie Bucky Irving. I like McMillan to continue his hot streak and find the endzone for a fifth-straight game.

  • Pick: Jalen McMillan Anytime TD (+145 at DraftKings)

Josh Jacobs

As much as I wanted to take a swing on Tucker Kraft, or any of Green Bay’s other pass-catchers at longer odds, I can’t look away from Josh Jacobs at -155 odds to score a TD. Jacobs has 15 of the Packers’ 49 rushing and receiving TDs (30.6%), and he dominates their red zone looks. The first-year Packer averages 3.69 red zone looks per game this season, which improves to 4.0 per game since Week 6 and reaches 5.17 since Week 12. Every other player averages less than one red zone look per game for the season.

Giving Jacobs the ball in the red zone has certainly paid off as well, as he has 15 touchdowns to his name this season, tying him for sixth-most in the league. He is currently riding a seven-game touchdown streak, and has scored 11 of his 15 total TDs in that span.

The Packers are taking on a Bears team that allows 4.7 yards per carry and has given up 18 touchdowns on the ground. Jacobs totaled 134 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown when they met in Week 11, which is the game that started his current TD streak.

Plus, other credible sportsbooks have him as short as -225 to find the endzone. So, I really like the price DraftKings is offering, and am placing a full unit on Jacobs to score a touchdown.

  • Pick: Josh Jacobs Anytime TD (-155 at DraftKings)

Olamide Zaccheaus

Over the last two weeks, Olamide Zaccheaus has become a real part of the Commanders offense. Prior to Week 16, Zaccheaus had only played more than 49% of Washington’s offensive snaps once, which came in Week 5 when he played 51%. In that time, he was averaging three targets and 21.4 receiving yards per game, with no touchdowns to his name.

In the last two weeks, Zaccheaus has played 69% and 76% of the offensive snaps, respectively, and has led the team in targets in both games. The result has been 13 catches for 155 yards and three touchdowns between those two games – he even logged a rushing attempt last week, which he took for eight yards. When a player is producing at this level, it would be very odd to just move away from him, especially when you consider Washington’s other options at receiver.

The 27-year-old has been explosive for this high-powered offense, and now prepares to take on a Cowboys team that has allowed the second-most points in the NFL. It’s also notable that Dallas gives up the fourth-most net yards per pass attempt, making me feel good about Zaccheaus breaking off a big one. But even if it’s not a big play, Zaccheaus has seen three red zone targets over the last two games, which is tied for the team-lead.

  • Pick: Olamide Zaccheaus Anytime TD (+305 at Caesars)

Drake London

While I do really like Bijan Robinson to score a touchdown against the Panthers, I do not like the price of his TD odds. So, I’m pivoting to the player I like second-best, who presents the most value to score a TD, in my opinion: Drake London.

Though London has not scored a touchdown since Michael Penix took over as Atlanta’s starting QB, he has been their leader in targets both games, seeing eight and 13 targets, respectively. No other Falcons pass-catcher has seen more than 11 targets over the two games with Penix. Another stat that is encouraging is that London has seen three of the eight red zone targets in this small sample size.

The Panthers have given up the most points in the league and that includes the surrendering the most passing TDs as well. Even if Atlanta finds themselves playing with a big lead, I’m not sure they take their foot off the gas. They’ll want to get Penix as many reps as possible to ensure maximum comfort in the off-chance the Falcons find their way into the playoffs, setting up a matchup with either the Lions or Vikings. So, I like London to see targets regardless of the game script, and think he’ll make a bad Panthers secondary pay.

  • Pick: Drake London Anytime TD (+119 at Caesars)

Joe Mixon

At the time of writing this, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans has been adamant that his starters are going to play Week 18 against the Titans. However, sportsbooks obviously do not believe him, as the Texans are getting 1.5 points and Joe Mixon, who is typically -125 or shorter to score, is getting +120 odds to score a TD.

I am going to put a half-unit worth of faith into Ryans telling the truth, because if he is, then I really like Mixon to find the endzone. The Texans RB has only scored one touchdown in his last five games, where Houston has gone 2-3, after scoring at least one TD in seven of his first eight games of the season.

The Titans have given up the third-most points in the NFL, which includes 20 rushing TDs allowed. Even if Mixon only plays a half, I like him (and the Texans as a whole) to treat this as a bit of a get-right game ahead of the playoffs.

  • Pick: Joe Mixon Anytime TD (+120 at DraftKings)

Jaleel McLaughlin

Jaleel McLaughlin only has three touchdowns this season, but I believe he has recently earned Sean Payton’s trust and has flashed the most play-making ability of the Broncos three backs. The second-year pro has now led the team in running back carries in each of his last three games, and most recently took his ten carries for 69 yards against the Bengals last week – Audric Estime totaled 24 yards on nine carries in the game.

McLaughlin has seen double-digit touches in each of those three games, and I think will see an even bigger share of the backfield work in a must-win game on Sunday. Though Denver has typically used Estime or Javonte Williams for short-yardage and goal line work, McLaughlin has actually averaged the most red zone looks per game since Week 13.

I don’t suspect the Broncos offense will put up a ton of points, but I like McLaughlin as the back to see the most opportunity in their game against the Chiefs’ backups.

  • Pick: Jaleel McLaughlin Anytime TD (+250 at BetMGM)

Isaac Guerendo

Since taking over the lead back duties with Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason both landing on the IR, Isaac Guerendo has been pretty good for the 49ers. Not only has he shown good explosion carrying the ball, but has been a threat as a pass-catcher out of the backfield as well.

Since Week 14, the rookie has scored a total of two touchdowns in three games and is averaging 1.67 red zone looks per game, which is second-high on the team. Guerendo will take on a Cardinals defense that is allowing an average of 150.8 rushing yards per game over their last four, which includes giving up 243 rushing yards to the Panthers.

I appreciate that Brock Purdy isn’t playing, but I think Josh Dobbs is going to be able to run the offense effectively enough, and like Kyle Shanahan to let his rookie running back loose.

  • Pick: Isaac Guerendo Anytime TD (+150 at BetMGM)

Jordan Addison

I cashed with Jordan Addison last week and am coming back to him again, even though the odds are a fair bit shorter than last week. He extended his streak of high-usage, now seeing at least eight targets in six of his last seven, and has at least one touchdown in five of those seven.

Addison has also seen 2.25 red zone looks per game since Week 14, which is second-most on the team only behind Aaron Jones. Justin Jefferson is being given extra attention, and Addison is making teams pay for it. I think Detroit, who gave up 81 yards and a touchdown to Jefferson in Week 7, will do the same thing.

But after giving up an average of 369.3 passing yards per game over their last three, even if the Lions don’t give Jefferson the attention, I still think he finds himself open against this struggling secondary.

  • Pick: Jordan Addison Anytime TD (+129 at Caesars)
