Premier League LIVE: Aston Villa vs Man City build-up, Arsenal in action

Unlucky, Christopher

Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku has had a rough start to the game…

As he went to take a corner for the hosts in their Europa Conference League clash, the away fans entertained themselves.

The Shamrock Rovers supporters threw lots of white tape at him and onto the pitch!

Nkunku looked back at the away end laughing at them, finding the funny side of the incident.

And it left the Frenchman and his teammates to clean up the pitch before carrying on with the game!

Tottenham 0-0 Man United

Some Man United fans have sent a message to Marcus Rashford.

A sheet was unfurled in the away end pre-match that read: “Excuses. Ta ra Marcus.”

That clearly indicates that group of supporters’ opinion on Rashford’s recent interview and squad absences.

He hasn’t been in the Red Devils’ squad at all in the last two games and manager Ruben Amorim has admitted it is only due to selection.

The banner references a fan statement that came out in 1989, as one supporter called for Sir Alex Ferguson to be sacked.

That one read: “3 years of excuses and it’s still ****… Ta ra Fergie.”

Underway!

Here we go then, the last Carabao Cup quarter-final is underway!

On leaving Marcus Rashford out again this evening, Ruben Amorim has said: “[It’s] selection.

“I chose the players I felt was ready to cope with the demands of playing a strong game”.

Will Man United win again without him?

We’ll find out over the next 90 minutes so stick with us for regular updates of all the action.

Chelsea have also kicked off against Shamrock in the Europa Conference League as they look to finish with a perfect record.
