More from Ange Postecoglou, on Brennan Johnson: “Brennan was super at the weekend and he is another one
who is young and still developing. He moved to a big club with huge expectations.
“He did well against Villa, but not great against Fulham. But he come off the bench [against Luton Town] and made an impact. He is another
one who is understanding more the way we want to play.
“It was always going to be a tough introduction when you are a
young player. It is always harder when you’re an attacking player.”
On on-loan forward Tino Werner: “In terms of his future, like most players, the decisions will be made at the appropriate time. I think he’s been great. He’s been a really important part of our structure. I think he can also improve.”
On Dejan Kulusevski: “He has done a good job. In general we have a young group and that is what we keep saying – my job is to keep pushing them.
“Kulusevski or Brennan, Micky van de Ven or Destiny Udogie, or Pape Matar Sarr. All these guys are in their early 20s, in their first or second year in the Premier League. Our job is to improve all of them.”
