Leeds to edge low-scoring game
Leeds United got their automatic promotion charge back on track with a 4-3 win at Middlesbrough on Monday but that result was a bit of an outlier among their recent Championship matches.
Before that trip to the Riverside their last two games had produced just one goal between them and under 3.5 goals is a selection that has landed in seven of their previous 10 league fixtures.
Daniel Farke’s side need another win here to boost their hopes of a top-two finish and they should get the job done against a QPR side whose 1-0 win at home to Preston North End on Saturday took them four points clear of the bottom three with two games left to play.
The Rs have let in more than one goal in just two of their last seven Championship games and more than two in just one of Marti Cifuentes’ 30 league games in charge, so we’re backing a low-scoring away win.
QPR vs Leeds United tip 1: Leeds to win and under 3.5 goals @ 11/8 with BetMGM
Score in store for Summerville
Crysencio Summerville was crowned Championship player of the season this month after scoring 19 goals in 41 league appearances.
The 22-year-old winger scored a brace against Middlesbrough on Monday and now has four in his past six Championship appearances.
He also scored his side’s only goal in the 1-0 win in the reverse fixture at Elland Road in October and we are backing him to take that league tally to 20 tonight.
QPR vs Leeds United tip 2: Crysencio Summerville to score any time @ 7/4 with BetMGM
Cards and corners create intriguing double
Our final selection for tonight’s game combines the cards and the corners market in a bet builder.
First up, we are not expecting a fiery affair at Loftus Road and are opting for under 4.5 cards, Leeds having been shown the fewest yellow cards in the division this season.
They average just 1.52 cards per game while QPR average 2.16, so if those numbers play out we are on to a winner.
To complete our bet-builder double we have gone for over 6.5 Leeds corners, given the Whites won 12, 13 and nine in the three games before the win at Middlesbrough.
QPR vs Leeds United tip 3: Under 4.5 cards and over 6.5 Leeds corners @ 11/4 with BetMGM
