Racing League Southwell 5:45 – tote.co.uk It’s The Final Countdown Racing League R36 Handicap (1m4f)
Damascus Steel showed a decisive turn of foot to return to the winner’s enclosure last time out at Kempton. He’s been given just a 3lb raise and should be in contention if he can replicate that form in this higher grade.
One to watch is DANCING IN PARIS, who has been consistent throughout the season and has proven he can be a major player back on the all-weather. Although he’s winless from four starts on artificial surfaces, today represents a drop in class.
If he can replicate his last two runs, he should be in the mix. Cock And Bull could also make his presence felt.
- Selection: Dancing In Paris 9/2
- Danger: Damascus Steel 14/1
- Current Betting: Dancing In Paris 9/2, Who’s Glenn 9/2, Cock And Bull 13/2, La Pulga 8/1, Natzor 17/2, At Vimeiro 12/1, The Thunder 12/1, 14/1 bar.

Great Max comes into this race in top form with back-to-back wins, but he may have to play second fiddle to his Irish teammate, BRUNEL NATION.
Brunel Nation finished 2nd to Von Bear in week three of the Racing League at Chepstow, and this less demanding 7f should suit him much better.
With a 50% strike rate on the all-weather and Richard Hughes’ horses in great form, Brunel Nation is well-positioned to deliver a strong performance. Kodi Lion and Noodle Mission shouldn’t be dismissed lightly either.
- Selection: Brunel Nation 8/1
- Danger: Great Max 13/2
- Current Betting: Grand Karat 11/2, Kodi Lion 11/2, Great Max 13/2, Brunel Nation 8/1, Noodle Mission 8/1, Another Investment 14/1, 14/1 bar.

A winner in week two of the Racing League, Habooba aims to make it back-to-back victories in the league and should put in a solid effort.
However, the two most progressive horses in the market are the ones to watch.
Sondad has recorded two wins from four runs, including a course and distance victory. However, JUNGLE LAND edges the selection here.
Jungle Land is coming off a breakthrough win, making all to win by over a length. Before that, he finished behind Storm Star, who has since performed well. Now with George Boughey, this progressive 3-year-old should be up for the challenge.
A mark of 82 looks within his reach, so expect a big run.
- Selection: Jungle Land 11/2
- Danger: Sondad 15/2
- Current Betting: Jungle Land 11/2, Sondad 15/2, Grenham Bay 8/1, Kodiac Thriller 17/2, Northern Spirit 9/1, Be Frank 10/1, Habooba 10/1, 10/1 bar.

It’s hard to look past the chances of WARMONGER making it four wins in a row here.
In typical Sir Mark Prescott fashion, Warmonger has shown tremendous progress since stepping up to staying trips. His latest victory at Kempton was particularly impressive, winning with ease.
With plenty of pace on offer today, this straightforward son of Camelot should comfortably handle his 10lb rise in the weights.
Cinnodin offers a solid each-way alternative.
- Selection: Warmonger 9/4
- Danger: Cinnodin 10/1
- Current Betting: Warmonger 9/4, Manxman 6/1, Shagpyle 8/1, Boldly 10/1, Cardano 10/1, Cinnodin 10/1, Wahrann 10/1, 10/1 bar.

This is a tough contest to decipher, but an each-way chance is taken on ENLOA GREY at a big price.
Her best form has come on the all-weather, though she has been performing well back on turf this season.
With a solid course and distance record—one win and three second-place finishes—her current 20/1 odds represent good each-way value.
Oliver Show and Radiant Beauty also look strong contenders for the places.
- Selection: Enloa Grey 20/1
- Danger: Oliver Show 10/1
- Current Betting: Great Acclaim 11/2, Radiant Beauty 6/1, Magnum Opus 8/1, Vultar 17/2, He’s A Gentleman 9/1, Oliver Show 10/1, Helm Rock 11/1, 14/1 bar.

Saffie Osborne has been in flying form throughout the Racing League, and her partnership with FANTASY BELIEVER is a significant highlight. She’s won four out of seven rides on him.
This 7-year-old gelding is aiming for a hat-trick after a week three victory, where he impressively won despite losing ground at the start.
If he gets a clean break this time, he should be more than capable of putting up another bold showing.
King Lear could also go close, as could last-time-out winner Life On The Rocks.
- Selection: Fantasy Believer 8/1
- Danger: King Lear 8/1
- Current Betting: Cracksking 11/2, Mighty Nebula 7/1, Dream Harder 15/2, Fantasy Believer 8/1, Great Bedwyn 9/1, King Lear 10/1, Walhaan 10/1, 12/1 bar.

A 5f dash to the cash will close out the 2024 Racing League.
Star Of Lady M stormed to victory at York last week, although she benefited from a significant track bias. The handicapper has responded with a 10lb hike in the weights.
While she could continue her progress, I’ll side with JER BATT.
Jer Batt has run twice over this course and distance, including a 2¾ length win and a 2nd-place finish where he was hampered at the start. After getting back to winning ways at Haydock with a battling display, he looks ready to go close again today.
Don’t rule out topweight Thunder Moon, who takes a sizable drop in class here.
- Selection: Jer Batt 9/1
- Danger: Star Of Lady M 11/2
- Current Betting: Nazron 11/2, Star Of Lady M 11/2, Brave Nation 8/1, Moulin Booj 17/2, Jer Batt 9/1, Tatterstall 9/1, Miss Attitude 10/1, 12/1 bar.
