A second successive month of record online sports betting handle – and a revenue increase of over 200 per cent – helped overall wagering revenue in Kansas, US, soar year-on-year in November.
Revenue across retail and online was up 185.9 per cent year-on-year from US$8.9m to $25.5m.
This was led by a 201.5 per cent jump in online sports wagering revenue, up from $8.2m to $24.7m.
There was a 15.8% uptick in retail sports betting revenues as well, which rose from $753,778 to $873,172 year-on-year.
There was a new record for sports betting handle set in Kansas too. Total wagers hit $290.97m, up from the previous best of $275.9m set in October 2024.
Continuing the month-on-month theme, overall revenue across land-based and online betting was up 412.2 per cent from October’s $4.98m.
