Despite a disappointing 2023-24 campaign that saw them lose the most league games in the club’s history in the Premier League era, Manchester United have received the most interest in the betting lines to be crowned champions in 2024-25.
The Red Devils have attracted 23 percent of all bets placed in the 2024-25 Premier League Winner market with Sky Bet – which is 12 percent greater than the next best-backed side Liverpool who have received 11 percent.
For those anticipating one of the above teams to win the league – United are joint fifth-favourites at 25/1, while Liverpool are a 13/2 third-favourite.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Aston Villa have both received nine percent of all bets placed, while Tottenham Hotspur are surprisingly level with the recently promoted Ipswich Town with six percent.
Surprisingly, Manchester City have received just five percent of all bets placed to secure their fifth straight league title.
Part of the reason they haven’t seen much interest is likely due to their price, with Pep Guardiola’s side a very short 6/4.
However, another factor could be the 115 charges they face for allegedly breaching the Premier League’s financial rules.
With the potential for deducted points or even relegation if they’re found guilty – that could very well be turning punters away.
